The world is shrinking! Cross-border business transactions are commonplace today. We can’t give you the world but this program will provide the credit executive – in particular those dealing with cross-border insolvencies - with information on how insolvency proceedings are handled around the world. The UNCITRAL Model Cross-Border Insolvency Act, the United States Chapter 15 proceeding which enables international bankruptcies to be recognized in our courts and various insolvency statutes from around the world will be discussed.

International Payment Methods
This program will be a broad overview of some key aspects to International Credit. Learn some of the traditional and emerging international payment methods. Topics covered will include SEPA, the PSD2, letters of credit, bank guarantees, bank payment obligations, documentary collections, payment escrows and open account as well as the secularization available in Mexico.

About our presenter: Wanda Borges, Esq. is the principal member of Borges & Associates, LLC, a law firm based in Syosset, New York.
