NACM North Central is supporting PRISM, a basic needs provider serving the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, with a campaign to encourage member and employee donations of non-perishable food items and kids' birthday gift items. Members wishing to participate can simply bring items for donation to their September or October credit group meetings, Fall Forum or NACM North Central's office.

Most needed food items include:

  • flour
  • sugar
  • cooking oil
  • peanut butter
  • jam/jelly
  • pasta
  • pasta sauce
  • canned chicken
  • baby food
  • personal hygiene products (toothpaste, deodorant, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, facial tissues, tampons, maxi pads)

Recommended Birthday Room ideas:

  • Legos
  • Wooden building blocks
  • Other building-type toys
  • Male and female action figures
  • Larger trucks and cars
  • Sports balls (football, soccer, basketball, etc.)
  • Baby dolls, Barbie dolls (diversity of complexions)
  • Baby doll clothes and related items
  • Gift cards for teens ($20-$25 denominations)
  • Note: PRISM has ample supply of board games, puzzles, arts & crafts, baby/toddler toys, and Hot Wheels
